The DLC release date for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 will be announced by Activision in the coming days, said Epoch Times.
"Call of Duty: Ghosts," the first-person shooter video game by game maker Infinity Ward, has had an extraordinary season with the release of "Nemesis."
The game will be exclusive to Xbox One and Xbox 360 today as soon as the service has finished its scheduled update.
Throughout the DLC season, the game introduced various franchises including the deadly Predator and the horror character, Michael Mayers. It also introduced new weapons such as the dual purpose "Maveric" and new saga for "Extinction."
The season closes with "Nemesis," which presents the maps from the most diverse settings where players fight for mankind's survival as the Cryptid Invasion extends to its deadly end.
The four new multiplayer maps are designed specifically for CoD's distinctive gameplay:
Goldrush: This map is located in an abandoned gold mine in the southwest U.S. Players ride in two mine carts to travel along an intricate network of tunnels and shafts. A howling pack of wolves that will descend against their enemies will be unleashed for successful players who complete the field order.
Subzero: This location is set in a frigid Canadian submarine base that features an empty control room, a submarine pen and research facilities. Upon completion, this map brings terror that will decimate enemies.
Dynasty: This medium-sized map transports players to a serene environment on a lakeside Chinese village surrounded with mountains, gardens and architecture. The field order allows players to call an airstrikes against enemies.
Showtime: This fourth multiplayer map is a remake of the classic "Modern Warfare" in "Call of Duty 4". Players that survive long enough will be granted three killstreaks, which are lethal automated gun turrets, air drops and deadly gas attacks.
"Nemesis" also includes "Exodus," the fourth episode of Extinction mode.
"Nemesis" is available for a retail price of US$14.99. It will be available for download for those who purchase the US$49.99 "Call of Duty: Ghosts" DLC Season Pass.
