Leave it to Dave Grohl to have a bone doctor who rocks just as much as he does.
During one of his Boston sets in Fenway Park, the Foo Fighters front man called out to his orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lew C. Schon to join the band onstage. And boy did he deliver: People Magazine reported that the surgeon belted out "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes at the top of his lungs.

After the artist fell and broke his leg during a concert in Sweden, the group cancelled their following shows to allow him time to heal. Dr. Schon provided orthopedic know-how and lo and behold, Dave Grohl is quickly jogging up the road to recovery.
Despite the fact that the presence of Dr. Schon is unprecedented, it is easily justifiable, since this counts as one way for Dave Grohl to repay the good doctor for his services. Perez Hilton reported that regardless of breaking his leg, it did not stop the band or slow them down, it just made the following concerts more awesome with his astounding throne with built-in lighting effects, where he will presumably sit the rest of the tour.
With Slate calling the doctor's performance full-throated and giving him praises short of already calling him a rock god, Grohl was definitely caught off guard with his guest performer, exclaiming nothing but surprise and sputtering out cuss words after he left the stage.
Even during his early days, Dave Grohl has always been seen as the fun-loving kind of guy. Though his crazy antics eventually led to the breaking of his leg, he made a point to not let the fans down and still played their concerts in spite of the leg. What can be seen as a thing or happenstance is the fact that of all the doctors he could have had to help him heal, he chose the one that easily rocks as hard as he does.
