"When I was with Tom, I don't remember paparazzi sitting outside our house ... not like now. This is different," said Kidman speaking of the media attention at the time of her relationship with Cruise. "We're the generation that got to duck all that."

Nicole currently resides in Tennessee with Urban and their two children together. In the interview where Nicole Kidman dodged Scientology questions, she said she wishes that she met Keith a long time ago.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban tied the knot in 2006.

"I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him. But I didn't. I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious," she said in the interview. "But as Keith says, 'The wanting mind, Nicole. Shut it down.'"

Though Kidman and Keith's relationship isn't perfect and the couple have had their ups and downs, they have stayed committed to each another, added Nicole. During the interview where she dodged the Scientology questions, Kidman even recalled seeing Keith perform at a concert and getting overwhelmed with her feelings for him.

"I looked up at him at one point and I saw his tattoos and his foot going, and he had the guitar, and I was like, 'God, I love that man. I'm so glad I'm in this world,'" she said.

In addition to her two daughters Faith and Sunday Rose with Keith, Nicole also has two adopted children with Tom Cruise - Connor and Isabella.

"I've experienced adoption. I've experienced birth with a genetic child. I've experienced surrogacy with a genetic child," she said in the Vogue tell-all. "I speak openly about it because so many of my friends are discussing it. It's important for other women to go, 'I get it!'"

Seeing Nicole with her Connor and Isabella rarely happens, but in an interview last year, she said, "They are generous, kind and hardworking. And these are traits that I love to see in my children."

Jason Gay, the Vogue reporter who interviewed Nicole, made it clear that while the 48-year-old actress had been candid, she shut down questions about Scientology.

She also refused to participate in the HBO documentary film "Going Clear," where ex-husband Cruise was criticized for his link with the cult-like organization, according to The Inquisitr.

"Kidman passed on the opportunity to speak to the makers of the film," wrote Jason Gay, "and has consistently turned away requests to comment out of respect for her children with Cruise."

In 2012 however, Nicole talked to the Hollywood Reporter about Scientology, albeit very little.

"I've chosen not to speak publicly about Scientology. I have two children [adopted with Cruise] who are Scientologists -- Connor [the Red Dawn actor is now 17] and Isabella [20] -- and I utterly respect their beliefs," she said.
