Good news gaming fans as new updates for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" have been revealed regarding new multiplayer online features and price details on the 'MGS5' PS4 limited edition.

Gamerant reports that Konami revealed new details for "Metal Gear Solid 5's" online multiplayer mode. Affectionately called "Metal Gear Online 3," gamers will experience playing "MGS5" online with different players using Metal Gear characters like Snake, Quiet, Ocelot and several novice mercenaries.

The website further adds that the next generation consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can support up to 16 players within "Metal Gear Solid Online 3." The older PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles will only be limited to only 12 players online in a single match

"Metal Gear Solid 5's" publisher Konami revealed that players can customize their characters in a number of ways, from gears, equipments, color schemes, weapons and many more. The gears in the multiplayer online will have varying appearances depending on the different character classes.

However, VG 24/7 reportedly claimed that Konami said the multiplayer customizations are not presets. Players cannot customize patterns, but Konami promised that there will be a variety of patterns to choose from. The website adds that customization will not affect the character's stats but their visibility could have an effect during the gameplay.

The equipements will include modern day military styled pieces and some gears are class specific. Players can save and load their character looks, but they cannot changed them during online matches.

In other news, the price details for the "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" PS4 bundle pack have been revealed.

According to Trust Reviews, the PS4 limited edition for "Metal Gear Solid 5" will have a price of £364.99 ($560) on the videogame retailer website GAME.

UberGizmo reports that the PS4 limited edition will sport a "Metal Gear Solid 5" theme with a red and black color scheme coupled with gold trimmings on the middle.

It also includes a metallic gray colored PS4 controller and a Day 1 edition of the "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" video game, which comes with an exclusive weapons, costumes and an extra special cardboard box.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will be released on Sept. 1, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360, while the PC version will launch via Steam on September 15.
