It looks like new updates for Square Enix's cyberpunk themed video game "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" have been revealed regarding its multiplayer features, themes, inspirations and more.
According to Gamerant, "Deus Ex" gameplay Director Michale Fortier stated in an inteview with the Official Xbox Magazine that having a multiplayer feature for "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" could be great idea at the time due, to the fact that the past "Deus Ex" games did not have multiplayer capabilities.

Unfortunately, Fortier said that they are not yet ready to have multiplayer mode in "Deus Ex Mankind" as he wanted to have a to "make sense" from a narrative standpoint and added that they will likely do so if the game itself goes to that direction during its developement, GamingBolt reports.
We Got This Covered further adds that Eidos Montreal will have to work on the "Fundementals" of having a multiplayer feature in "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" and it will take examples from the other games like "Mass Effect", "Dragon Age Inquisition" and "Assassin's Creed: Unity".
Square Enix had previously showcased "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" during their presetation at the E3 2015 event which features new a storyline that is set two years after the event of "Human Revolution" as players will take control of Adam Jensen yet again as a double agent working for anti-terrorist group that stops rogue "Augs" from commiting acts of terrorism, and an unknown organization feeding information from other interested groups.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" will feature weapons and equipments such as EMP bullets for non-lethal takedowns, a Tesla EMP device which can take out four enemies at the same time and Nano Blades. Players can also use other ammos like live bullets, explosive and armor piercing rounds,
Adam Jensen will also have new abilities within the game like the Icarus Dash, wherein he dash everywhere very quickly within an area. He also uses a remote hacking device on his arm to unlock certain areas and hidden items. Lastly, the Titan shield which grants him limited invinciblity for a short period of time.
The game also provides players on how to approach each mission whether they do it stealth or go guns blazing. There are also choices within the game that affects the outcome of the story, and it is up to the player to make their own path.
It was reported before that Square Enix and Eidos Montreal are letting fans decide which items should be included in the "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" collector's edition, as ten items are present for them to vote upon.
The voting ended in July 3 as Square Enix and Eidos will announce the three items present in the collector's edition when the game is ready for pre-order.
Lazygamer reported that "Mankind Divided's" executive art director Jonathan Jacques-Belletete wanted the sequel to have shock value of what is happening to the present storyline after the Panchea Island incident.
He compared these similar events to the 9/11 bombing and the Pearl Harbor and people will make rash decisions based on that fact and that is what the theme of "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" is all about.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" will be released on the early months of 2016 for PS4, Xbox One and the PC platforms.
