It takes skill to walk down the runway without tripping. It takes even more skill throwing the first pitch at a Dodgers game drunk.

Last Tuesday, supermodel Chrissy Teigen was "pretty drunk" before she stepped on the mound at Dodgers Stadium to throw the first pitch. The Dodgers were playing against the Angels.

Before the game, the Sports Illustrated cover girl took to Instagram to share a photo of her dad mixing drinks, which she captioned, "Dad making birthday margaritas like only dad can!! I love you dad, happy birthday!!!!"

After a few glasses of her dad's margaritas, Teigen drunk-tweeted "Crap I'm pretty drunk" and "My mom is bombed."

A little liquid courage to calm the nerves maybe?

The feisty model, who is married to R&B singer John Legend, then posted a Vine video of her practicing for the pitch an hour later.

The stadium was abuzz as the statuesque Teigen entered the field. She took photos of herself in full Dodger wear.

Upon seeing Teigen, reporter Michael Lananna tweeted, "Christine Teigen (@chrissyteigen) is here, wearing jersey 40 w/ the name "Nugz" because "40 Nugz" is her favorite drunken food at McDonald's."

Despite the buzz, Teigen strutted to the mound like the model she is and wiggled in her short shorts while managing to throw a pretty decent pitch. Apparently, margaritas do for supermodels what energy sports drinks do for athletes.

Satisfied and happy at her pitch, Teigen threw her arms around Drew Butera of the Dodgers in celebration. She then ran to her friend who was waiting at the sidelines. The two hugged and jumped for joy, falling to the ground in the process.

A day after the game, Teigen once again took to Twitter to update her followers regarding her drunkenness, posting "Forget everything you thought you knew about hangovers."
