In all her candy-colored hair glory, Katy Perry arrives smack dab in the middle of the Taylor-Nicki feud.
After Taylor Swift called out Nicki Minaj for posting a tweet full of shade, Katy Perry openly shared her own opinion on the issue. Us Magazine reported that the "California Girls" singer is mocking the former country crooner, calling out the irony that someone like Taylor Swift tries to be the bastion of goodwill toward women when she in fact capitalizes on taking a woman down.

To add insult to injury, Minaj favorited the tweet.
The 30-year-old "Dark Horse" singer tweeted further about the eligibility of Rihanna's "Bitch Better Have My Money" to further strengthen the claim that she was in agreement with Minaj, showing her support of the soft racism by MTV, as reported by The Hamilton Spectator.
Yesterday, Twitter broke out with fans taking sides of either Nicki Minaj or Taylor Swift, wherein Nicki Minaj was ranting about her video not being included in the nominations for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards. Feeling like the "Anaconda" rapper threw shade toward her, Swift openly defended herself, to which Minaj opened that it was the obvious racism by MTV that she was gunning for and not Swift.
Taylor Swift has been known to write about her experiences and turned them into hits. A lot of them have been rumored to be about ex-boyfriends, but her most recent single "Bad Blood" is rumored to be about the ongoing feud of Swift and Perry. However, New York Daily News reported that there used to be a much simpler time where the two were not enemies and even tweeted about working together.
Unfortunately, all of that is in the past now, and only time can tell if the Band-Aids can indeed fix bullet holes or if all the sorry is just for show.
