The most addictive mobile game ever has preyed on yet another victim. This time, it involves a lot of money and a kid. The Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app has been making people crazy and apparently making them spend a hell load of money too!
The most recent victim is the son of bestselling author Ayelet Waldman. Apparently, the game needs a lot of in-app purchases and you have to pay for those in order to make it to being an A-list celebrity like Kim K.

And so the rant begins. Waldman tweets: "Why is the Kardashian app such a high earner? Because it preys on children who don't know how much it's stealing from them. Pure evil."
Before we get to be mad at Waldman for bashing our beloved Kim K, she made it clear that he has a strict rule regarding her son's phone expenses. She says that she has placed only US$20 in his allowance. Also, she has disabled the phone's ability to buy in-app purchases. However, her son managed to blow US$120 in just two days by playing the said app.
Aside from the app being pure evil, she also referred to the Kardashian clan as "vile scumbag pigs". This is in reference to making such an addictive mobile app. Another tweet from Waldman says that her kid is crying hysterically and that her son can't believe he lost so much money. She also broadcasts that parents should delete the addictive game because the app is earning around US$700 in just a day.
It has been reported though that Apple refunded the whole US$120 to Waldman. Seems that Apple thinks that the virtual outfits as well as makeup upgrades are not that important to waste such huge amount of money on. Thanks so much Apple for doing this and sorry to the Kardashians for not getting their hands on the author's money.
