Taiwanese Hearthrob Jerry Yan expressed his desire to meet pretty Japanese ladies during his premiere for his latest movie last Monday.

Jerry Yan's premiere for latest movie Lupin III was held in Tokyo alongside his co-actors - Tetsuji Tamayama, Shun Oguri, Go Ayano, Kim Joon, and Meisa Kuroki.

The premiere was attended by nearly 4,000 people and was a success.

Director Ryuhei Kitamura playfully revealed that Jerry Yan wants to be introduced to pretty Japanese ladies.

Kitamura jokingly said that the public should not be deceived by Jerry Yan's model-student looks and how he courteously answers questions for in private, Yan has asjed him to be introduced to pretty ladies in Japan.

According to the director, he cannot help Jerry Yan on this for there are not so many actresses in the film.

Lupin III is an upcoming Japanese action film based on the iconic manga by Monkey Punch and directed by Ryuhei Kitamura.

Jerry Yan, 34 years old, will be playing the role of Arsenal Lupin III's archenemy Michael Lee. The film focuses on how main characters met in a fabulous setting. Shun Oguri is the one who will be playing the role of Lupin III in the movie.

On August 30, another premiere will be held in Japan.

For the past four years, the film has undergone development on script which has consumed two and a half years.

Monkey Punch also served as a consultant while the movie is being filmed.

 "I will be able to know if the audience can accept my performance right after the premiere and I'm pretty nervous," Jerry said.
