After being spotted together a few weeks ago, Nick Jonas clarified the issue that he is dating ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez once again.

According to Daily Mail, the 22-year-old singer who is recently single from his split from beauty queen girlfriend Olivia Culpo denied rumors regarding a blossoming romance between him and ex-flame Selena Gomez.

During a radio interview, the "Jealous" singer said that he chanced up on meeting Selena and the two decided to arrange a group dinner together for their common friends.

"We kind of ran into each other a couple of weeks ago, like walking in Venice. We were both with separate groups of friends and we ran into each other," Jonas said. "We met up, I put a dinner together with a bunch of really great people, like the Haim girls, who I love. They're awesome. They're the best. It was a big group of people and we all hung out and had a great time. It was good to reconnect in that sense."

But when asked further if he would like to date Selena Gomez once again, Nick gave avoided the question and settled for a safe answer.

"It was nice to connect and just catch up. I'll just stop there," he said.

According to Perez Hilton, it's less likely that Nick will be focusing on one girl after his split. The singer admitted to having "lots of other options" in terms of his love life.

Meanwhile, Selena Gomez just celebrated her 23^rd birthday last July 22. In an article by Pop Sugar, the "Good For You" singer posted a photo matched with a sweet message directed to all her supporters. Selena can be seen wearing a red robe, covering her face while a plate with a slice of cake was placed on a table. Her caption read:

"I am the luckiest, happiest girl today. Thank you guys so much for all the bday wishes!! I love growing up with YOU."

Although busy with her concert tour, her best friend in the industry Taylor Swift managed to send a birthday message to Selena using her Twitter account.

"Happy 23rd Birthday, @selenagomez. I can't believe it's been 7 years since we met!! I love you so much, always," Taylor posted.
