After failing to appear in court to face charges for marijuana possession, Judge Ricardo Herrera of the El Paso County misdemeanor court issued an arrest warrant for Wiz Khalifa.
The 26-year old rapper did not make it to court on his scheduled arraignment last Wednesday. His lawyer wasn't present either.

In May 25, airport security caught Wiz Khalifa with a small container of marijuana in the El Paso International Airport. Wiz Khalifa was in possession of 0.5 grams of weed.
Marijuana is illegal in El Paso, Texas.
Khalifa has never kept his drug use private. He openly shared that he smokes cannabis daily and usually spends $10,000 a month on the drug.
The rapper, whose birth name is Cameron Thomaz, was about to leave Texas after performing at a music festival in the area when he was caught.
After being caught, the performer was charged with a misdemeanor offense and released on a $300 bail.
While behind bars, Wiz Khalifa, known for the song "We Dem Boyz", took a selfie and posted the photo on Twitter as an act of defiance. The said photograph caused a stir and prompted officials to investigate jailhouse security.
Taking pictures inside jail cells is prohibited so authorities wanted to know whether Wiz Khalifa was left unsupervised, or worse, if a jailhouse staff member helped him take the photo.
It seems that the controversial rapper isn't really bothered by his current arrest warrant. Instead of tending to his legal issues, Wiz Khalifa took to Instagram to post a black-and-white photo of his semi-nude wife, Amber Rose.
Amber Rose, who shot to fame as Kanye West's former flame, was just wearing a white lace thong and bra in the Instagram picture. The rapper captioned the photo, "Woman Crush Wednesday" with an icon of a heart.
Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have been married for over a year and have an 18-month old son named Sebastian.
