A double-decked bus driver is facing charges after crashing into Times Square
The driver of a double-decker bus that rammed into a Times Square plaza, injuring dozens of people, is suspected to have been high on drugs after he failed a sobriety test.
Police said that William Dalambert, 58, of New Jersey was arrested after he failed the test, although there was no evidence to conclude that he had been drinking.

Results of blood and urine tests to determine if he had used illegal or prescription drugs have yet to be released, police said.
According to reports, Dalambert was arraigned Wednesday night on charges of "driving while impaired."
Dalambert was driving a Gray Line bus when it crashed into another double-decker bus before plowing into the plaza Tuesday.
Some 14 people were rushed to the hospital for multiple injuries. Reports said the patients' injuries were not life threatening.
Allegedly, Dalambert has a string of past driving suspensions but despite that all his driving privileges had been restored. He has a valid New Jersey license and a commercial license to carry passengers and drive other types of vehicles.
Previous license suspensions were for non-payment of child support as well as insurance, authorities stated.
A spokesman for the Gray Line bus company said it is cooperating with the police and conducting a thorough check on safety rules and protocols for drivers.
New York transportation authorities said that earlier in the year it had checked around 260 double-decker buses to make sure they were safe. This is an increase when compared to 192 buses checked last year.
An spike in these double-decker buses have become something of an irritation to local New Yorkers who are annoyed at seeing these sightseeing vehicles driving in residential neighborhoods.
State officials said transportation companies must limit the number of double-decker buses driving through the city in order to avoid accidents.
