IBF flyweight champion Amnat Ruenroeng of Thailand wants the United States to be the venue of fights against Roman Gonzalez, Juan Estrada and Kazuto Ioka, according to The Ring.

Gonzalez got a lot of media exposure in his demolition of ex-champion Edgar Sosa in May on HBO.

The network has since committed to feature Gonzalez again in the fall and Ruenroeng's promoter, Jimmy

Chaichotchuang, is salivating on the idea of getting that media exposure for his fighter, who appeared on HBO2 in March.

There's a catch though: Chaichotchuang wants Ruenrong to fight Gonzalez or Estrada in the United States, but there's no way they could be gauded to fight in Mexico.

While the promoter insists that Ruenrong's fights with Gonzalez or Estrada would be great for boxing, the Thais' record doesn't indicate so.

Ruenroeng's sports a KO ratio of just 31 percent and his elusive, clinching style is not fan-friendly.

Gonzalez and Estrada would both have advantages in strength and power against Ruenroeng, and the latter's chance of winning could only be through a boring full-route decision.

The 35-year-old Ruenroeng remained spry and will be able to push the best fighters to the limit, claimed Chaichotchuang while noting that Ruenroeng has never been hurt while boxing and is very dedicated in training, the Bad Left Hook reported.

He has a history of drug use and prison stints that kept him from turning professional much earlier than May 2012.

He won the title in early 2014 in Japan against Kazuto Ioka and this year beat Chinese Olympic gold medallist Zou Shiming in Macau.

Ruenroeng last saw action in a unanimous decision win in a fourth defense of his IBF flyweight crown against Filipino ex-IBF junior flyweight titlist Johnriel Casimero.

Ruenroeng to dropped Casimero twice, in the second and seventh rounds, towards scores of 116-110, 115-110 and 113-112.

Ruenroeng's antics made it an ugly, foul-filled encounter, and did little for his Q rating, but Chaichotchuang was nonehteless pleased with the result.

Chaichotchuang claimed that Ruenroeng showed he was the best flyweight boxer with his performance.

However, the Rappler reported that the fight featured excessive clinching and over a dozen throw downs by Ruenroeng. Referee Larry Doggett, issued five warnings before taking a point from Ruenroeng in round 11.

Ruenroeng (16-0, 5 knockouts) is now back in Utaithani City, where he worked as a rice farmer.
