Snoop Dogg was briefly detained and questioned by the Swedish police on Saturday evening after a performance near Stockholm, the Associated Press reported.
The incident took place when the officers pulled over "The Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper after suspecting him of being "under the influence of narcotics" and afterward took him to the station to have him take a urine test.

In lieu of the recent arrest, Snoop Dogg took to Instagram and Twitter to speak out, and he went on a huge online rant about it, according to Access Hollywood. The 43-year-old rapper posted a series of videos, including a moment he was sitting at the back of a police car. Snoop maintained his innocence in his posts, claiming that the officers who arrested him were racially profiling him.
"[They've] got me in the back of a police car in Sweden, pulled a n****r over for nothing," Snoop told his fans in a post while at the back of a police cruiser. "Now I gotta go to the station and pee in a cup, for nothing. I ain't did nothing. All I did was came to this country and did a concert, and now I gotta go to the police station. For nothing."
"[They] came and snatched me out of my car," he said in another post while inside the Sweden police station. "Profiling. Racial profiling."
In a third video, the rapper said, "On my mamas im sick and tired of the p***. N America n these countries that jus don't respect us f*** that new me new u u do we do 2."
Because of his arrest last weekend, the rapper announced that that was his last visit to Sweden and apologized to his fans in the country.
"Sorry about that, all the fans in Sweden. I'll never be back in this country," he said. "Y'all can thank y'all police chief and all the people that run y'all police department."
"It's been real, thank you, but I'm gone," he added.
On Twitter, he announced, "2 all my Sweden fans U can blame YA police dept for never seeing me again in your beautiful country."
In a statement, police spokesman Daniel Nilsson for the Uppsala region said, "Police carrying out roadside controls noticed that Snoop Dogg (whose car was pulled over) seemed to be under the influence of narcotics. He was arrested and taken to the police station to take a urine test."
"The incident lasted several minutes. Once the test was carried out, he left," Nilsson added.
It appears though that Snoop was somehow released quickly even though the test results were not immediately available, reported Mirror.
National police spokesman Fredrik Wallen said that following Snoop Dogg's arrest, he was released on Sunday. Wallen added that the rapper's test results would not be available for "some time," reported the AP.
In a final video, Snoop told his fans, "I know a lot of y'all are concerned about me. I made it through. They took me down there, made me pee in a cup, didn't find s**t, no case, no nothing."
Access Hollywood tried to contact the rapper's reps, but they had no comment on the incident as of the moment.
The Saturday incident is not the musician's first encounter with authorities, according to the AFP.
Oftentimes, the lyrics of his songs would display his fondness for marijuana. Elsewhere, he has also had previous run-ins with police over the drug.
