Usually seen as a musician with a sweet persona, Taylor Swift is admired not only by fans but by artists as well. However, it appears the tides are changing, and other musicians are seeing a different side of Taylor, 25.
One of the best-selling artists of all time, Taylor has been called "mean" and "calculating" by Grizzly Bear singer Edward Droste on Sunday night. Droste even insisted that he is "genuinely" terrified of Taylor and the "power" the "Bad Blood" star has.

Droste's attack on Swift became a sensation overnight. His Sunday tweet was a photo of a tabloid article with the headline: "Mean Girl Taylor Swift's Friendship Rules!" The article reportedly said that Taylor Swift is not the friend that she says she is since she has a number of strict rules for famous girlfriends like Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
One of TayTay's diva demands is that during her "1989 World Tour," they cannot dress better than her,and they are not allowed to speak to her unless she speaks to them first.
Edward Droste captioned his tweet about Taylor as "Obsessed that people are catching on," which has been retweeted over 300 times.

Ed was asked by a fan if he was the magazine's source, to which the indie-rock singer responded, "I have a whole other story to tell, still feels unsafe tho. She frightens me genuinely."

This is not the first time that Edward Droste has thought Taylor Swift to be mean. Back in February, he spoke out about a firsthand experience with the 25-year-old in a series of tweets, which he then deleted. At first, the tweets were vague as to who they were referring to, but the musician later confirmed they were about Taylor, who frequently praises her close celebrity friends and sends gifts to fans, according to Gigwise.
Droste claimed he was deathly afraid of mentioning Taylor, which is why he did not name who he was referring to in his tweet.
The tweet went, "Met a celebrity I always speculated was terribly calculated and mean, and they exceeded all my expectations of rudeness and arrogance. HATE. If you know please don't @ the person, they see all and have the capacity and desire to destroy, seriously, please just known and lol... This is an eternal blind item, bc I'm too petrified of their insane power. No need to speculate just HAD to voice my disgust."
His later tweet admission read, "I want to just put out there that I've always known Taylor Swift was [as] immensely evil as she is powerful."
It is unknown when the two musicians met, as Droste claims to have "firsthand experience" of Taylor.
Surprisingly, this is not the first time that the usually sweet "Blank Space" singer has been slammed by a news outlet as well.
Last week, Gawker published an article titled, "Taylor Swift Is Not Your Friend." The article explained her friends getting to perform on stage in her concerts is a sort of "Swiftian performance art."
Early last week, Salon also covered Taylor's feud with Nicki Minaj. In the article, the news site reportedly explained five times that Swift has constantly "embarrassed herself" over the years. Contributor Anna Silman also accused the "Mean" singer of never having addressed other issues like LGBT, sex positivity, intersectionality in feminism, as well as cultural appropriation in her "Shake It Off" music video, according to The Inquisitr.
Over the weekend, Taylor received backlash from the public as well after she took a swipe at Katy Perry when she was joined by a shark on stage while performing "Bad Blood," reported Mirror. At last year's Super Bowl, Katy famously performed with two sharks, with the left shark becoming an Internet sensation because of his uncoordinated dance moves.
Taylor Swift and Katy's feud went public when Taylor told Rolling Stone Magazine, "It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."
Katy seemingly responded to the interview by tweeting, "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing . . ."
Last week, their feud went on spotlight again after Katy appeared to tweet about Taylor over the Nick-Taylor issue over the MTV VMA nominations.
Katy wrote, "Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman...(sic)."
It appears both the media and other musicians are speaking out about Taylor Swift's true colors.
Taylor Swift has yet to comment to any of the media backlash as well as Edward Droste's tweets.
