Hollywood star Tom Cruise shows off death-defying stunts in the latest installment of the blockbuster movie "Mission: Impossible." But despite bringing his stunts to a whole new level, some critics say it may struggle to draw in crowds.
"Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" opened over the week earning $40 million, an amount movie critics say may be a sign that the film is struggling to bring in its expected crowds, considering it spent roughly around $150 million in the making, Variety reported.

Eric Handler, an analyst with MKM Partners told the news site referring to the opening earnings, "It seems low to me. People seem to be turning out this summer for good movies, and this is a good movie."
However, others say the movie will definitely pick up its pace, especially that it is set to be released across 3,800 locations across the United States and 40 other countries.
"I think it will pick up as word of mouth gets around. It seems like it could stick around well into August," Shawn Robbins, assistant editor of BoxOffice.com told Variety in a news report.
But whether the film hits its target earnings or not, for co-star Simon Pegg, "I don't think there is another movie star like him [Cruise]. My experience of him is incredibly positive," he told the Strait Times in a report.
"Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" features Cruise's most death-defying stunt so far. The actor clung to the side of an Airbus A400 as it takes off. As in previous MI movies, Cruise did not use a stunt double.
Meanwhile, Cruise got movie fans excited over the possibility of a sequel to his summer movie "Edge of Tomorrow."
During the New York premiere of MI, Cruise told MTV News that he had an idea for the sequel, "I pitched it . . . we were there one night and I was like, I've got an idea for it," Cruise shared.
