Hulk Hogan is under fire for allegedly making racist remarks, and he wants Gawker to burn on the same flame.

The former WWE superstar is trying to push legal action to the tune of $100 million against the website Gawker after releasing potentially career-ending information. The New York Post reported that the news aggregate website ran a reel from his sex tape and disclosed a recording of the wrestler going on a racist and homophobic tirade. Almost immediately, WWE removed any connection with Hogan, scrubbed off all photos or mentions of the wrestler from the official website, thus ending his 38-year-old career in just a snap.

On the other side of the field however, Gawker released a statement denying anything to do with the leaked materials. Fox News reported that Heather Dietrick, president and general counsel for Gawker, points their fingers back to Hulk Hogan, saying that no one from their side had any role in the unfortunate release of the recordings. In a lengthy remark by Dietrick, he says that additional recordings are with the FBI, and the deeper the investigation goes, the interesting it gets.

The issue of racism was raised after Hulk Hogan was talking to his son Nick Bollea about his daughter. The Daily Mail UK reported how Hogan stated that he would prefer that his daughter would be dating some other n-word. The word was repeated several times, with the two parties even laughing about it.

Though Hogan have since apologized, fans are quick to jump ship with some of them already tweeting harsh words towards the wrestler. There are those, however, who stand by him, to which he profusely express thanks.

Despite the sudden dismissal from the WWE, it is highly probable that Hulk Hogan will stand up from the ashes of this sudden tumble in his career. Provided that he will walk tall amongst the scandal and controversies, fans can pray that Hulkamania will once again reign free in WWE.
