With just one week to go, Trevor Noah opens up that he is willing to talk about race once he replaces Jon Stewart.
The 31-year-old South African stand-up comedian is going to be fearless once he steps in for Jon Stewart in the fake news show "The Daily Show." New York Daily News reported that the comedian will not hesitate to tackle tough issues such as race, especially with the recent events of police shootings. He also added personal anecdotes, such as being pulled over by a police and one time when he was flying and a Muslim asked him to be checked for ebola.

Noah will be replacing Jon Stewart, who has expressed his sentiments about leaving the show. The longtime host has also released the last guests during his final week. The Washington Post listed Amy Schumer Denis Leary and Louis C.K. as his last three guests, even revealing that Leary and C. K. as two of his favored guests. Schumer, on the other hand, was rumored to replace Stewart as host of the show, who apparently turned down the offer.
Fans are expressing their sorrow for the departure of Stewart in the show that he has hosted for sixteen years, but time goes on, and replacements must be made.
Meanwhile, Noah, who is not allowing the pressure of Jon Stewart get to him, will take on the reins late this September. The Indian Express reported that the soon-to-be host is feeling the eye of the storm right now, being in between the moment of announcing his soon-to-be role and the time he actually takes over. He admits it was a shock for everybody since big names were being thrown around as to who will replace the TV icon, then he gets to be the chosen one.
Overall, it is a good thing that a fan of the show gets to replace the irreplaceable Jon Stewart. Jon Stewart will always be Jon Stewart, and hopefully Trevor Noah does his best not just to mimic Stewart, but to be better and at par with him.
