Caitlyn Jenner Voted at Teen Choice Awards, Up Against Taylor Swift and Katy Perry

Who knew that after Bruce turned himself into Caitlyn, it would lead to his nomination at the Teen Choice Awards?
According to a report by Daily Mail, Caitlyn Jenner is nominated in the category "Social Media Queen," and she goes head-to-head with the likes of Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj.

After receiving the announcement, Caitlyn excited shared the news on Twitter. The 65-year-old said that she wouldn't have qualified for the category a few months back.
"And to think I wouldn't have qualified for this nom a few months ago... What an honor! #TeenChoice #SocialMediaQueen," Caitlyn tweeted.
Gossip Cop reported that hours after the announcement, Caitlyn immediately shared the link to the official voting site together with her post. All of the winners that are to be announced in the Teen Choice Awards are determined by online votes made by fans.
The Kardashians are certainly no stranger to the awards show but the nomination came as a surprise to Caitlyn who just celebrated her two months in Twitter. It was June 1 when she decided to sign up for the social media site, and it was also the same day she shocked the world when she debuted as woman in the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.
In a previous report by Entertainment Online, Jenner was able to break President Obama's record making her the fastest growing account to be able to gain one million followers.
"The previous record holder for this milestone of fastest growing Twitter account was President Barack Obama, who began tweeting from his account on May 18. It took POTUS about five hours to reach 1 million followers," the article stated.
Caitlyn is now the title holder for reaching the one million mark in just four hours and 30 minutes. Jenner was able to break the record with just two tweets posted in her account.
"I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me," she posted.
With only a total of 27 tweets so far, Jenner was able to gain 2.75 million Twitter followers.
