(Photo : Getty Images) PORTO, PORTUGAL - APRIL 14: Head coach Pep Guardiola looks on during a FC Bayern Muenchen Training Session ahead of the UEFA Champions League Quarter-Final First Leg match between Porto and FC Bayern Muenchen at Estadio do Dragao on April 14, 2015 in Porto, Portugal.
Pep Guardiola has a target on his back and it's not meant to strike him and his team down on the pitch. English Premiership side Manchester City is reportedly prepared to offer £100million to secure his services as his manager next season.
According to a report by The Manchester Evening News, Guardiola's contract with German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich will expire next summer. Not only will his contract expire, the report claims that he is unsure if he will renew with the German team or not.

"When I reach a decision, I will talk to [Bayern bosses] Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Uli Hoeness and Matthias Sammer. A year is a long time, three years is a lifetime at a big club," said Guardiola, while speaking to the media ahead of the German Super Cup.
He also said that despite all the reports circulating in the media, he has not received any formal offers. He said that at this point, he is focusing on doing what is best for his current club.
Bayern Munich executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had a lot more conviction when he spoke about Guardiola's future back in April. "The aim is to extend Guardiola's contract and I think we have very good chances that he remains the coach here beyond 2016," he said.
The Mirror reports that Manchester City is willing to offer Guardiola £20million a season for a five-year deal. This totals to £100million, the highest deal ever offered to any manager in football history.
Manchester City currently employs among it ranks, several former officials from Spanish club Barcelona. They are reportedly pushing club executives to acquire the Catalan's services. Guardiola held the reigns in Barcelona for several successful seasons in 2008-2012 before taking a short sabbatical, then signing for Bayern Munich.
He made his name as a world-class manager during his four-year stint in the Catalan club. He won a total of 14 trophies in domestic and international leagues while he was there. In 2011 he was also recognized as the FIFA World Coach of the Year.
If Guardiola decides to take up the offer from Manchester City, it would mean that their current manager Manuel Pellegrini could be left without a job. His contract with the English club also expires in at the end of the 1015/16 season.
