According to 9to5MAC, a statement was given saying, "This update improves FaceTime Camera compatibility with Windows and is recommended for all boot camp users." The said update, however, is not made available on Mac App Stores, but those who already have the 2015 MacBook can download it from its Apple support sites.
In a related news, a firmware update 1.0 was issued by Apple to its MacBook users to fix flash storage problems. The new Retina MacBook Pros received its first firmware called the MacBook Pro Flash Storage Firmware Update 1.0. The update targets MacBook Pros that have the Force Touch Trackpads in order to fix a glitch in flash storage and to prevent any loss of data.
Owners of the MacBook Pro from mid 2015 can download the 1.9MB file from the support document that is available on the Mac App Store. Apple announced the availability of the software in order to prevent more problems for its users. The FaceTime Driver Camera Update is highly recommended by Apple and should be installed by all MacBook users from the Apple Support website.
In a post by MacRumors, the schedule of update release for MacBooks includes MacBook Pro (Retina, 15 inch, Mid 2015), MacBook Air (11 inch, Early 2015), MacBook (Retina 12 inch, Early 2015), MacBook Pro (Retina, 13 inch, Early 2015) and MacBook Air (13 inch, Early 2015). Its International release will help MacBook users significantly by releasing the update in different languages aside from English, such as Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Korean, Russian, Polish, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Finnish, Danish and Norweigian.
MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Notes should take note of the dates in order prevent glitches and maximize the use of their MacBooks.
