Good news Marvel fans as a sequel to the "Fantastic Four" 2015 reboot is likely in the works, with two new characters and a rumored director helm the film.

Bell who plays Ben Grimm, a.k.a. The Thing, told ComicBook.com that he wanted to have the Silver Surfer in the "Fantastic Four" 2015 sequel. The Silver Surfer first made his live-action debut in 2007 film "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," played by both Doug Jones and Laurence Fishbourne providing the character's voice. Silver Surfer is heavily associated with the Fantastic Four lore in the Marvel Comics as both villain ( a herald of Galactus) and eventually an ally to them.
Jordan who plays Johnny Storm, the Human Tourch, aslo named dropped Namor the Submariner for the "Fantastic Four" 2015 sequel. Namor, just like Silver Surfer, is another prominent character within the Fantastic Four comics and is occassionally an ally and foe to Marvel's first family.
It is highly noted that Namor also became a member of the X-Men due to his Atlantean/Mutant heritage, and since Fox owns the rights of both "Fantastic Four" and "X-Men," comicbook fans might get their wish to have the king of Atlantis in the big screen for the first time.
In other news, Bloody Disgusting reportedly claimed that "X-Men" film director Bryan Singer will try his luck to helm the "Fantastic Four" 2015 sequel.
Blastr further adds that rumors began when Fox had some "back stage problems" with the film's Director Josh Trank, Fox wanted someone else to handle the "Fantastic Four" sequel incase that the movie will be hit or miss in the box office.
The website further adds that the "Fantastic Four" 2015 sequel could set up the events of the rumored crossover film with the X-Men.
The Latino Post reported before that Singer has hinted a possibility that X-Men and Fantastic Four could team-up at some point within Fox's Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Singer believed that both teams are a natural combination since both ensemble are part of the same universe, Blastr noted. Singer is currently handling the latest X-Men sequel "X-Men: Apocalypse."
"Fantastic Four" will be shown in cinemas this week on Aug. 7, 2015.
