Raymond Lam Joins Emperor Entertainment?

Rumor has it that Hong Kong actor and former TVB artist Raymond Lam is signing a contract with Emperor Entertainment which previously directed his singing career.
The 34-year old actor has always had a close relationship with Emperor Entertainment, according to reports, and was pleased with the way the entertainment agency has helped in his rising music career.

Raymond Lam has reportedly arranged a dinner with the executives of Emperor Entertainment on the night he announced that he is leaving his former network TVB.
The actor recently announced his amicable departure from the entertainment agency and has since been receiving support for his decision to do so. Despite having been promoted by TVB for 15 years, he eventually decided to call it quits with the company.
Based on Hong Kong media reports, the executive of TVB, Virginia Lok, has tried a lot of times to persuade Raymond Lam to stay with them, but at a higher salary of approximately $100,000 per episode of the drama he was filming if he so decides to stay. However, the actor seemed driven to leave TVB for good.
Additionally, the actor reportedly expressed his hopes to create another path in his career. During the dinner, the actor allegedly discussed details of his new contract signing deal with the entertainment company.
Since nowadays, the actor is a free agent he is now a highly sought-after talent among entertainment agencies. Raymond Lam was reportedly planning to open his own agency together with veteran artist Eric Tsang, however, their plans didn't really materialize.
Despite his soaring career and a promising future along with that, Raymond Lam's parents didn't seem pleased about his decision to leave TVB, sources say. His parents were said to have been very grateful towards TVB for helping their son's career in the industry. Furthermore, the actor's parents wished that he would renew his contract with the entertainment company.
Still, on previous reports, the actor expressed that he wished to have a chance to work with TVB again.
