Zayn Malik has nothing but praises for his old bandmates as they launch their newest single "Drag Me Down."
After he left One Direction earlier this year, Zayn Malik has been exploring his options being a solo artist. But that doesn't mean that the former member of 1D has also left his friendship with his bandmates. The 22-year-old singer still had praises for Harry, Louis, Niall and Liam.

According to Daily Mail, Zayn Malik expressed his support to his former bandmates when he posted a tweet linked to One Direction's latest single "Drag Me Down."
"Proud of my boys the new single is sick. Big love. :) x," Zayn posted.
"Zayn actually thinks the song is pretty good. He had a brotherhood with all of them for so long and he knows they are super talented and actually really likes the song. He isn't going to promote it or anything but he is proud of them on how it turned out," a source said.
Zayn's praises came just after he announced that he is singing to RCA records which is a rival label.
"I guess I never explained why I left, it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who I really am! #realmusic #RCA !! ... #REALME," Zayn previously posted.
Fans were not very happy about his tweet since it looked like it was aimed at One Direction. Some fans reacted and asked whether or not they were listening fake music all along.
In an article by People magazine, "Drag Me Down" is the first single of the band without Zayn. Meanwhile MTV said that the former bandmate remains supportive of the band that he left but insisted that he is happy with the new music that he is working on.
Back in March early this year, Zayn Malik decided to leave One Direction with reasons like he wanted to be a "normal 22-year-old." It surprised fans that instead of living a normal life Malik proceeded to work on solo materials.
"My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band," Zayn tweeted.
