"Inside Out" reached the $600 million milestone after it topped the UK box office last weekend following its battle with "Jurassic World" in July for the top spot in the United States. Pixar's latest effort grossed exactly $602.29 million over the weekend, which means a breakdown of $329.59 million at the domestic box office and international gross sales of $272.7 million.

"Inside Out" reportedly follows the recent footsteps of "Monsters University" and "Toy Story 3." According to Deadline, it has also become the 13th film this year that crossed the $100M mark at the domestic box office, and for the Walt Disney Company, the animated film is their third one to have passed that milestone.
"Inside Out" still has not been released in Italy, Germany and China, but the sales from those countries are sure to generate even more income for the film.
Since the film made the milestone over the weekend, there already have been rumors circulating that an "Inside Out 2" is possible. Pixar has made known that they are planning to release a sequel every two years as well as an original movie each year. Pixar's latest sequel projects include "The Incredibles 2," "Toy Story 4" and "Finding Dory," according to The Inquisitr.
While rumors are out over the possibility of an "Inside Out 2," US writer and director Pete Docter told Entertainment Weekly in June that there are still no current plans of bringing back Riley's emotions, Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear and Anger, to the big screen. Asked about "Inside Out 2," Docter simply said that "there's no sequel idea from me at this point," teasing, "Never say never."
The film features the voices of Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, Phyllis Smith, Bill Hader and Lewis Black as the emotions inside Riley's head, an 11-year-old girl, according to Digital Spy.
Meanwhile, comedienne Amy Poehler, who voices Joy, said in an interview with Daily Express that she thinks an "Inside Out 2" is a pretty good idea, as long as there are no new emotions added into the mix. Poehler even said in jest, "Or we just stay with Joy. That should work out pretty well."
