Their relationship might be over and done, but Chris Brown recently admitted his love for ex-girlfriend Rihanna in an interview.

In a report by Hollywood Life, Chris Brown confessed his love for his former girlfriend Rihanna. The 26-year-old rapper said that he has "love and respect" for the "We Found Love" singer and that things are cool between him and RiRi.

Many were surprised when Chris sang Rihanna's "Bitch Better Have My Money" during a recent concert. When he was later on asked about his interesting song choice, he said that Rihanna is his "homie" and that he has nothing but "love and respect" for the Barbadian singer.

"She's my homie though. We knew each other since we were 14, 15 so with that kind of history, we are always going to be cool. I don't get jealous. I don't get mad. I got nothing but love and respect for her," Chris Brown said.

Brown took it a step further and said that he respects Rihanna as an artist and commented that he is sure his ex-girlfriend plays his music too.

"I respect her as an artist. Obviously people are going to make a spectacle, like 'Oh, he's playing her music!' But who doesn't? I'm pretty sure she plays my music," said Chris.

It seems like things between the two are friendly since Rihanna was seen watching Chris during his rehearsals for the BET Awards.

In another report from Inquisitr, Chris also talked about his feud with singer Drake. He said that he is not interested in talking about the past and that he has learned not to partake in beefs anymore.

"Because with me, I am more mature now. At the end of the day, whoever is making they money is making they money. As long as they ain't getting in my way I'm good," Brown said.

OK UK magazine recently reported Rihanna's dad, Ronald Fenty, talking about the real score between his daughter and Chris.

"I don't know what their relationship is now. At the basketball, they just said 'hi and hello.' When we was going to the car park he was trying to talk with her but she turned and was talking to somebody else, so he came and talked to me and I had a picture with him," Fenty said.
