After rumors spread out like wildfire that Taiwanese actor Kai Ko was allegedly dating singer-actress Tia Li, the actor is now reported to have agreed to work on a joint album.

Last month, the two artists were spotted together on three late-night dates. Kai Ko has expressed prior to the incident that he will be meeting new people and he seemed to have been making good on his words especially after his high-profile breakup with Taiwanese songstress Elva Hsiao.

The rumors were denied by both sides. The Taiwanese actor, when questioned if he would give it a chance to develop a relationship with Tia Li, stated that he was open for it and would just leave it at that, not specifying anything.

With the exposure of the two stars' rather close relationship recently, the Dream Girl member's agency has taken the opportunity and approached the 22-years old actor's father, asking for permission for the two stars to work together on a joint project for the release of a new album by the end of this year.

According to sources, Kai Ko's father has agreed and given his blessings for said collaboration between his son and Tia Li. However, the head of the management agency, Angie Chai, still has the final say whether the joint project will push through or not.

Furthermore, the Taiwanese girl group member was said to have personally approached Kai Ko to discuss about the collaboration her managing company has suggested as the company couldn't seem to think of a way to approach the actor. The singer-actress seemed to have taken the initiative to do so.

Other reports have stated that actor purportedly agreed to work on this album with Tia Li.

Although the 29-year old singer's manager has clarified that the collaboration will be solely based on Kai Ko and Tia Li's availability of schedules, they are still worried that these kinds of speculations will potentially be deterrent of the upcoming project.
