Snow and Holland talked about it on their website saying that they believe that the missing message is a positive and emotional one. They added that the Scottish electorate should not be told what to or what not to do instead they should be informed how the rest of the UK feels about Scotland.
Snow and Holland also pointed out that the people who signed the letter did not have a vote in the said referendum but they wanted to voice out their opinions. They said that the people who are concerned about this are not telling the Scots how they should vote but if they do decide to go and vote, those who signed hopes that they won't.
Notable Britons such as Judi Dench, Helena Bonham Carter, Eddie Izzard, Patrick Stewart, Steve Coogan, Tom Daley, Steve Redgrave, David Attenborough, Stephen Hawking, Simon Cowell, Mick Jagger, Dickie Bird, Tracey Emin, Mary Beard, and many more.
