British vlogger Jayde Pierce became controversial when she was pictured with Justin Bieber earlier this year. But the 19-year-old said that they were just friends.

Many fans of Justin Bieber didn't like it when Jayde Pierce, a British vlogger, appeared next to their idol. But in a report by Hollywood Life, the teenager clarified that she never had a relationship with the "Where Are U Now" singer and insisted that the one week visit she had in Los Angeles was just friendly.

According to the article, Justin Bieber took notice of Jayde via her Instagram profile and ended up sending a message to her. They both swapped numbers and began talking. Jayde said that the pop singer would just say normal things like asking how her day was.

"He would just be saying normal things like, 'Hey, how was your day,' and I was asking the same," Pierce said.

Four weeks after their initial contact, Jayde flew in to Los Angeles to spend time with the singer. The teenager also revealed that Justin serenaded her with Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River" minutes after their first meet.

"When I arrived he was sitting in the garden playing guitar," Jayde said. "He just looked up and said, 'Hey, how was your flight?'"

In her interview with Mirror UK, Jayde defended the singer and said that he is not the brat that the media portrays he is.

 "He doesn't let his fame get in the way of doing things. We weren't stuck at home. People think Justin must be a brat and arrogant but he's nothing like that," Pierce added.

Daily Mail also reported that although Pierce claimed they were just friends, she revealed that Justin was one who "likes to cuddle."

"He's a really tactile guy, he loves cuddles," Pierce said.

For six days, Jayde was able to take a glimpse of Justin behind cameras and how he is when he's just at home.

"He's a real laugh. He has a robot in the living room and at least three electric scooters that came everywhere with us," she revealed.

Since photos of her with Justin emerged online, she then received a lot of hateful comments from fans.

"I had thousands of messages from people calling me racist things like 'monkey'. It's annoying his fans can't respect he can hang out with who he likes," Jayde said. "Justin told me he blocks social media when bad things are being said about him."
