By now it's already common knowledge that Caitlyn and Kris Jenner have split up. However, the couple, who have been married over 20 years, have surprisingly decided to get into couples therapy. Reports say they are doing it for closure, but it appears Kris Jenner has been jealous of all the spotlight Caitlyn has been getting.

According to a RadarOnline.com insider, Caitlyn and Kris Jenner sit down together to see a professional therapist once a month, working through their issues following Bruce's transition and rise to fame.

"It was Caitlyn's idea and Kris agreed, but not just because of the kids - Kris knows it will help with her closure," according to the source from Radar. "So far, it's really helped her come to terms with the 'new Bruce' standing before her...they've got a lot of history together."

A week before, the ex-couple met for the first time since Caitlyn's public transition, reported The Hollywood Gossip. However, the much anticipated meeting hadn't exactly comfortable, especially for Kris.

According to Hollywood Life, there was a time that Kris couldn't bear to meet Caitlyn in person, and that when they met last week, they argued like an old married couple with the two ending the meeting in tears.

It had reportedly been hard letting go for Kris who was reported to have been bitter over her former husband's sudden rise to stardom.

Kris reportedly even made fun of Caitlyn's new show "I Am Cait," behind Caitlyn's back. Kris said she doesn't want to "play second fiddle" to Caitlyn and appear on the show just like that.

However, it seems that the ex-couples therapy has helped the couple patch things up even just a little bit since Kris recently filmed a scene of the show while refusing to be paid, according to Radar Online.

Meanwhile, "I Am Cait," Caitlyn Jenner's new 8 part docu-reality series, is reportedly looking bad after 2 episodes. Jenner has already lost half her audience in the second week and ratings continue to drop despite appearances from the Kardashian and Jenner girls, as well as Kanye West, according to The Inquisitr.
