Orlando won the match 3-1.

Major League Soccer 2015 regular season action continues as the Orlando City SC (7-10-6) meets the Philadelphia Union (6-13-4) on Saturday, August 8 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

The Lions are coming off an upset 5-2 win over East third placers Columbus Crew SC last week, which as of the moment tied them for the 6th and last playoff spot with the Montreal Impact, as reported by SB Nation. However, they also lost big to Toronto FC on Wednesday, 1-4.

With 12 games to go in their regular season bid, Adrian Heath's men have a good chance of entering the playoffs if they could string consecutive wins in their next outings.

Orlando had been winless in all of its four games in July and they are eager to follow-up their Columbus victory this month.

Meanwhile, the U is on a skid with three straight losses dating back to July 18 at Toronto. Their latest loss was a 1-3 rout by the New York Red Bulls, via SkySports, who are now currently second place in the Eastern Conference.

Philadelphia is last place in the East and with 11 games to go in their schedule, they would need a miracle to qualify in the postseason.

According to the MLS official website, this match would be the first time these two clubs are going to face each other in an official game.

The predicted result is a 2-1 win by Orlando City over Philadelphia. Despite the recent loss against Toronto, the Lions are going to ride on the momentum of their huge win versus the Crew while Jim Curtin and his boys will continue to figure out how to win at this stage of the season.
