Brazilian exporters consider the Russian food embargo as an opportunity to sell more products to Russia.
On Thursday, Brazilian meat exporters said that the food ban was "a golden opportunity" for them after Russia approved about 90 Brazilian meat suppliers to export pork, beef and chicken to Russia.

Brazil's Agricultural policy secretary Seneri Paludo said on Thursday that Brazil is already looking to increase the export of grains and beans to Russia.
"Russia has huge potential as a consumer of agricultural commodities," Paludo said in an interview with Brasilia.
Paludo said that the opportunity that opened because of the ban is similar to the case his country experienced when China opened its doors for exporters worldwide ten years ago.
Brazilian beef association, Abiec, told Reuters that out of the 90 suppliers, 58 were for beef, 31 for processed meat and 27 were for fresh meat.
Brazilian officials also said on Wednesday that they can cover the meat supply that U.S. once exported to Russia.
Brazil will also be exporting other agricultural products such as coffee, sugar and orange juice.
Russian President Vladimir Putin banned imports coming from the United States and Europe following a sanction that the countries have imposed on Russia due to the Ukraine conflict.
The Russian decree opened doors for other food exporters to engage in business with Russia.
Brazil also has an unfriendly relationship with Washington after it was revealed that U.S. spies were looking in to the e-mails of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.
In a report by Chile's Direcon trabe body on Wednesday, Russian administration had talks with several Latin American officials on Wednesday with regards to finding more exporters who will sell products to Russia.
Brazil is considered as the number one meat exporter in the world. It is also a top exporter of beans, grains and has available farm lands to increase agricultural production if needed.
