According to Gotta Be Mobile, the Galaxy Note 5 is going to be launched in New York City on August 13. Though there have been several leaks doing the rounds of the market in the last few months, the recent images that have surfaced actually give users a preview into what the gadget could be like. The leaks reveal pictures of the device being used by the tester, fuelling rumors that this could be the final product that the customers should expect. One thing that the leaks have confirmed is that the Note 5 continues to retain the premium look and feel, shown by the extremely popular Galaxy S6 devices; however, Samsung has gone ahead to get rid of the mundane plastic casing.
Instead, the Note 5 will feature chamfered aluminum edges and glass covering the front and rear of the device, which makes the device more powerful and impact resistant.
The new Note 5 does not have micro-SD slot or a removable battery, a trademark of the Galaxy smartphones. The absence of these two has been confirmed on NDTV Gadgets . Another interesting feature that will be missing from Note 5 devices will be the remote sensor. This sensor was placed on the top in the previous models and helped to control an array of devices very easily; however, in the new Note 5 users will not get this facility.
One leaked image also shows that Note 5 has the instagram app integrated in its app layout, hinting at the possibility of a higher level of customization in the device that is sure to please the end user.
