Samsung Developing Massive 18.4-Inch Tablet; Priced At $507 To Be Evaluated, Tested And Destroyed

Samsung's largest tablet has been spotted through import listings set for testing, and to be destroyed later on.
Largest Samsung Tablet With 18.4 Inches Screen Display Spotted
An 18.4-inches Samsung Tablet has been spotted by SamMobile through import listings via Zauba. According to a screenshot, this massive tablet carries the model SS-18.4, having a value of €464 or $507, with seven pieces noted on Delhi Air Cargo from South Korea, dated in Aug. 1, 2015 scheduled for testing and evaluation purposes, and not for sale then later be destroyed. Since the huge device is only meant for testing and evaluation, there is no other information if it runs Android or Tizen OS.

Galaxy Tab Pro is the biggest Android tablet offered by Samsung, with 12.2-inches of screen display with WQXGA resolution. It is powered by Exynos 5 octa-core processor, 3 GB of RAM, up to 32 GB internal storage with microSD card slot support for up to 64 GB and 8 MP primary camera. With its large display, the manufacturer installed a 9500 mAh battery unit having an approximately Internet usage of up to 13 hours, music play time more than 100 hours and video playback of up to 11 hours.
Larger Tablets Available In The Market
Large tablets have been around the market already and one of the biggest known is the nabi Big Tab, boasting up to 24-inches depending on the model with high definition display, multi-touch functionality and wide viewing angle technology. Big Tab is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 4 T40S processor with burst speed of 1.8 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal storage, 1650 mAh battery unit and Android 4.4 KitKat. It offers several features including learning systems for math and reading, program suite for drawing and utilities to understand time, weather and calendar designed for kids.
For Windows, Microsoft offers the Surface Pro 3 with 12 inches of high quality screen display. It can be attached to a portable keyboard and offers intuitive pen functionality in addition to touch response. Surface Pro 3 is powered by Intel i3, i5 or i7 processor, Intel Graphics card, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB internal storage. Users will get Windows 8.1 Pro as the default OS but can be upgraded to the latest Windows 10 OS.
