Zhang Ziyi once more found herself the subject of pregnancy rumors when she appeared at the press conference of her sci-fi movie "The Baby from Universe" in Beijing. The 36-year-old actress joined her co-stars on stage sporting a huge bulge beneath her black dress. Cast member Cheney Chen was unable to refrain himself from stroking Zhang's baby bump, and the actress-producer responded with a giggle.

However, fellow actress Jiang Wen also stepped out with a prominent belly, almost instantly dispelling speculations of Zhang's pregnancy. Soon it was revealed that both actresses were only wearing fake pregnant bellies as part of the promotion for The Baby from Universe (otherwise known as "Oh My God").

In March, it was alleged that Zhang may be pregnant because of her reportedly quick wedding plans with boyfriend of two years, singer Wang Feng. The couple was engaged in February during Zhang's birthday celebration. Since then, they have been hounded by rumors that Zhang might be already carrying the musician's third child. Wang has already fathered two daughters, each with former wives Kang Zuoro and Qi Dan.

The allegation resurfaced in July when several "sources" claimed that the actress has refused showbiz commitments for the second half of 2015. This was refuted by Zhang's management and Wang's representatives reportedly dismissed media's attempts for reaction. Still, rumors refused to die down and reports following the movie promotion went as far as claiming that Zhang is already four months pregnant with the "noticeable" bulge on her lower abdomen.

Meanwhile, her fiance readily shot down the reports and asked that sources of the rumors be named. When pressed by reporters that the allegation was "confirmed" by several sources, the rock singer coolly smiled and told them to ask these sources instead of him.

"First of all, who said [she's pregnant]? Do we have a name? Then ask those sources They surely know more than I do," Yahoo! quoted Wang.

In the face of all the hearsay about him and his fiancee, Wang has one information to confirm. According to the "The Voice of China" coach, Zhang already has a "due date."

"Her due date is on 4 December. I mean that's the date that her movie is due to be released," Wang quipped.
