After Apple integrated the Force Touch to its Apple Watch and MacBook series, consumers are left to assume that the special feature will eventually be part of the pending release of iPhone 6S. Apple has not made any official statement about it, but with various leaks online there is no doubt on telling the Force Touch could be one of the highlights of the new iPhone series.
The Force Touch's integration to MacBook lies on the track pad and allows user to do a "force click" in order to access or open a new function. The Apple Watch, however, received the Force Touch on its actual screen and lets a user access several other controls on some of the installed apps.
The force Touch will reportedly have limited significance on the iPhone 6S, besides the fact that it can integrate pulling up other functions and even shortcut to other applications.
According to BGR, Foxconn, Apple's manufacturer gave some hints to the much awaited iPhone 6S design when revelations told its consumers that the iPhone 6S will be thicker than its predecessor.
The additional thickness of the phone has been due to the rumored incorporation of Force Touch and "taptic engines" that would serve as an update to the iPhone 6 series. While the two features are new to iPhone, the said features have been clearly present in the Apple Watch, where the Force Touch determines the amount of pressure applied to the gadget and the taptic engine that physically gives flexible vibration motor whenever it gives out alerts.
The surprisingly thicker iPhone profile have been speculated to cover the protruding design of the past iPhone cameras, but consumers are now made to believe it does not, based on online leaks where the protruding camera is still visible in the current design.
