He also becomes the first senior royal to pay income taxes and sign a job contract.

His shift will be starting from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the 999 call out team and will be responding to medical emergencies and major car crashes in the region.

The future king will be flying East Anglian Air's emergency helicopters for at least two years following a six month-conversion course.

Kensington Palace stated that the Prince will be donating his post-tax salary, estimated to be £30,155 annually in full to an undisclosed charity yet.

Prince William's new job was described as "one of the finest forms of public service."

According to William's spokesman, the Prince is highly motivated in helping other people in difficult and disastrous situations.

With this decision of William in flying air ambulances means that he will not become a frontline royal not unless his age reaches 35.

William has also gained unwavering support from the Queen, his father, his wife, and Prince Charles.

Although William will be going to training as a pilot, the Prince and Duchess of Cambridge will continue to undertake public engagements but only in small numbers.

They will be taking 40-50 duties annually but according to the Prince, his flying is considered as his "primary occupation."

William's new job suggests that the couple, together with their son, Prince George  will be spending a lot of time at Anmer Hall, a 10-bedroom Georgian mansion that was given by the Queen.
