"The Super Smash Bros 4" was first introduced in Japan in 2014, before it even hit North America and other regions. Since then, they have introduced several new contents to Wii U and its 3DS version such as additional stages, and with the 3DS version, it added the sharing option and a Miiverse stage for the Wii U version. A new feature, the Fighter Ballot has joined the 3DLC's particularly Roy from "Fire Emblem," Ryu from "Street Fighter" and Lucas from "Mother 3." Last April, the Fighter Ballot was asking its fans to cast their votes on who they want to see next that will be included in the game. "The Super Smash Bros" series has been one of Nintendo's favorite games, and so far, the gaming platform has stood up to their reputation.
According to the iDigitalTimes, "Super Smash Bros 4" will eventually introduce new stages in their latest patch update. The Mii Costumes have been significantly introduced and players can now interchange the character's costumes into "Classic Nintendo Characters." The most notable of the update is the enabling of YouTube upload that is not allowed in the older version. Players can now keep records of their fight highlights and make them available on video for safekeeping.
At the moment, there are no new characters until such time the Fighter Ballot is closed in October, wherein, newly voted characters can be put in the game.
