"Far Cry 5" has not announced its exact date of release, despite fans expecting it to be out by 2016.

According to iDigitalTimes, Far Cry 4 has only been out for six months and it may take a while longer for "Far Cry 5" to launch. Developer Ubisoft has been very keen on announcing their annual release of games, and for some reasons, "Far Cry 5" is not one of them. The "Far Cry" series has been plagued with two year interval with a very minimal difference from each version. This time, game analysts expect the "Far Cry 5" to be very different from the other versions.

If "Far Cry 5" is set to be developed with a revised engine, it would be impossible for the game to be ready by 2016. If sales are to be depended on when it comes to fast track the release of "Far Cry 5," there should not be any reason not to release it by 2016 as "Far Cry 4" made 7 million shipments in the last quarter of 2014, a mere six weeks after it was released.

Meanwhile, "Far Cry 3" sold at least 10 million copies in its whole duration of release, which is not quite bad when using it as a basis of sales for the upcoming "Far Cry 5."

In a recent survey which was posted on Far Cry 5 News, the Ubisoft team has put on a survey among users of "Far Cry 5" to determine the regions where the game will likely kick off. They also took the chance of announcing during the survey the current developments made for "Far Cry 5."

Along with the survey is the wishlist of "Far Cry 5" and what they want to see in the next game that includes brand new auxiliaries such as weapons and animations. They have also requested the adaptation of pilotable airplanes and helicopters, and last but not the least, the integration of more exciting jungle features such as traps that will likely catch different types of animals.
