Good Day Orlando news anchor John Brown just became a hero overnight for many social media users when he ranted against the Kardashians off camera and called the reality TV family a "non-story." The local newsman found himself "tons of supporters" who all seem to agree that he perfectly put the words in their mouths.

In the video posted on YouTube, it was heard that all Brown wanted was to have a "good Friday" until the story of Kylie Jenner's new pet bunny named Bruce made it to the headlines. So he stood up and stormed off the set, leaving his partner Amy Kaufeldt capable of reacting only with the words "he left me."

"I'm having a good Friday so I refuse to talk about the Kardashians! You are on your own, Amy. I can't do it, I've had enough of the Kardashians! I can't take any more Kardashian stories on this show!" Brown's voice was heard amid his co-host's confusion.

One Twitter user with the handle @St3f_Hall called Brown her "new favorite TV personality" while another user with the handle @mrsmjjones congratulated him for "taking a public stand against publicity for that non-news family!"

According to New York Post, radio segment host Jenny Castillo attempted to "de-escalate" the scene by asking Brown how would he feel if his daughter named her pet "John." Still in rage, Brown snapped back that he does not care about the Kardashians and the family makes him sick.

Shortly, Brown posted the video of his meltdown on Facebook and said, "Sorry, I lost my mind a bit, although it was partially in jest! I did feel better though after I was done." However, his apology was met with netizens' remarks that he has nothing to be sorry for and that they salute his "heroic move." The local anchor, whose handle is @Fox35John, responded to one tweet and shared that his fuming episode felt "like therapy."

On Monday afternoon Brown posted on Instagram a screenshot of his name topping the day's trending topics, with the caption "The #1 trender all Facebook today. This is surreal. I've never lived through anything like this." The YouTube video now has more than 750,000 views.
