According to iDigital Times, CD Projekt Red CEO Marcin Iwinski has confirmed that the developers have decided to give some gap before they begin work on the next series of extremely popular "Witcher" series. This is as per a statement given during Iwinski's interview to Gamespot. His clarification puts an end to all the rumors about expecting the new game series in the near future. The CEO also said that his company's current focus is on "Cyberpunk 2077," the new dystopian RPG, Design and Trends reported.
However, he also said that the "Witcher" series game had interesting plots to offer even in the future, hinting that the company would surely take up the development of next version at a later stage in the future.
Further giving details about what the next version of "Witcher 4" may look like, Iwinski said that the previous games were all about swords and castles, and in his opinion, the upcoming edition should be more tech savvy with modern ammo, guns and of course android. Another update is that Geralt, who was in all three "Witcher" games, would not be featured in the next "Witcher" game.
Meanwhile, fans can continue to enjoy the latest installments of the "Witcher 3" game. Developers are adding more content to the game to make it more interesting. This includes the New Game Plusmode, which will be available to gamers, completely free of charge. Even the first expansion, titled "Heart of Stone" looks promising and is expected to add more than ten hours of content to the game plot. "Heart of Stone" is set in No Man's Land In Oxenfurt.
