According to Reality Today, "Super Smash Bros" developers have confirmed that they will be releasing the new series of the Amiibo characters in the coming months. The report also confirms that the first installment of the Amiibo series will be out on October 23, fueling the excitement of fans across the globe. The first set of the Amiibo series is inspired by the DLC character Mewtwo. However, as of now, the new character series will be available only in the British markets because the makers have not confirmed a North American release date. Some other DLC characters like Ryu and Lucas are also expected to make a comeback in the next few months.
Nintendo also revealed that the developers have introduced different schedules in order to accommodate the multiple Amiibo characters, as confirmed in a report on Gamespot. Nintendo also said that it had no plans to annualise the game franchisee. The company's sole focus will be on developing new and more innovative gaming options for its fans. Even for the Mario Kart game, Nintendo has released a lot of new content over the period of time. The makers confirmed that they prefer this strategy as opposed to franchising the games.
Starting September 11, Bowser Jr., Koopa Clown Car, Dr. Mario, Ganondorf and Olimar will be joining the league of Amiibo series. Nintendo is also introducing Zero Suit Samus, the unique Mario figure created for the 30th anniversary of game, and the 8-bit Mario which is again a limited edition option.
In the last few months, Nintendo has revealed new courses and modules for "Mario Kart" and introduced new characters for "Super Smash Bros," simply in an effort to keep the game more interesting for the players.
