North Nolan, the actor who is lending his voice to one of the characters in "Unchartered" confirmed that a new version of the "The Last Of Us" game was indeed in the pipeline; however, there is no clarity with regards to the confirmed release date or the new features being introduced in the game. As of now, one thing is confirmed - the developers are not going to take up anything new until the completion of "Unchartered" game.

According to a report on Kpopstarz, gamers across the globe could well be expecting the next installment of the extremely popular gaming series "The Last Of Us." After the successful run of the previous edition on the PS3 and PS4, the game has garnered a huge fan following in various parts of the world. Currently, Naughty Dog, the developer of the game, are occupied with "Unchartered" series but artists who are portraying characters have given hints that the makers could be working on the next series of "The Last Of Us."

The report quotes North Nolan, who plays the antagonist in the "Unchartered" series who revealed that the makers are keen to take up the next installment of "The Last Of Us"; however, they will take up the project only after completion of the "Unchartered" series. Though the other people involved with the "Unchartered" project said that they don't have any information about such details and so refused to comment. 

Another artist Troy Baker, who is lending his voice to one of the characters in the "Unchartered" series, said that though there was no confirmation, he is hoping that the makers work on a prequel, something that gives players a chance to travel back in time. These rumors have led the gamers to speculate and expect the next instalment in the near future. 

A report on Movie Plot confirms that "The Last Of Us" is by far one of the best games that Naughty Dog has created. Will the new version be able to stand against the "Unchartered" series? This is something that the gamers will be able to decide only when the new game comes out in the markets.
