Sire Ma Sues HK Tabloids

After the video scandal of Hong Kong actress Sire Ma was released online and going through strains in both her personal life and career, she has taken to legal means, suing several Hong Kong publications for releasing contents of her video.

Recently, Sire Ma has been facing colossal trouble after her lingerie video was leaked online. Said video was supposedly filmed by the actress for her ex-lover, Chinese producer Wang Zi Qi, who also denied releasing the video to the public.

In turn, the 27-year old actress is turning to legal advice and is suing Hong Kong tabloids including Next Media, Apple Daily, Face and Sudden Weekly.

While authorities are still in the middle of investigating the person behind the release of the videos online, the TVB actress is taking legal actions against said tabloids.

The actress accused the media outlets of working together as a team in order to obtain private info about her personal life, saying that it is breach of confidentiality.

Sire Ma is asking for judgment for the publications to stop releasing more contents regarding her private life and to surrender all the copies of said video scandal, published or not. The actress is also demanding for a compensation fee.

The court hearing has already been schedules at the High Court of Hong Kong.

When  Sire Ma was asked to say something about her current circumstances, the actress merely expressed her thanks to the Hong Kong police, privacy commissioner, lawyers and other legal teams for working hard to help her fix her situation.

"Things have now entered the judicial process," the actress additionally stated.

The actress also spoke about Hong Kong being a society ruled by law and that she believed that everyone can be protected by the law. She has also thanked the public for their concern for her.

The actress is currently not engaged in any kind of media-related activity as she has been suspended by TVB, the entertainment agency she is under.
