Good news gaming fans as Capcom will finally have a "Resident Evil" remake for the next generation consoles, and several concepts and ideas have been revealed suggested by fans as well.
According to VG 24/7, "Resident Evil" game producer Yoshiaki Hirabayoshi, a.k.a "H," has confirmed that the higher heads of Capcom gave "Resident Evil 2" remake the green light and is delighted that his proposal for game has been approved.

IGN further adds that Hirabayashi took to YouTube and thanked the gaming fans in support of the "Resident Evil 2" remake project, and showing his gratitude by wearing a t-shirt that says, "WE DO IT" signifying that Capcom will be making the game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One or even the PC platform.
The "Resident Evil 2" remake campaign started when Capcom asked the fans on Facebook if they wanted a remake of the game, as the post generated almost 25, 000 likes and 3,000 shares.
There are also reports that Capcom is making a sort of remake game for "Resident Evil 2," called "Resident Evil: Rebirth" using the Unreal 4 game engine.
It looks like all the hard work from Hirabayoshi and the fans has paid off as the game will be developed by Capcom's R&D Division 1, with Hirabayoshi leading the project.
Gaming fans suggested different ideas and concepts for the "Resident Evil 2" remake. Gamerant reports that in-game camera should be upgraded, similar to the "Resident Evil 0 HD," or go for the current over-the-shoulder camera that is seen in the current Resident Evil titles.
Other gaming fans want to have new locations within "Resident Evil 2" remake, which gives them a chance to explore some parts of Raccoon City that is not yet featured in the original game.
The website further adds that they are also hoping for new monsters and zombies to be more smarter and deadlier, just like in "Resident Evil" remake, wherein they "don't just die" as players will have to blow their heads or burn them to really kill them.
PlayStation Universe also cited that Capcom should have a online content for "Resident Evil 2" Remake to make it more interesting than the usual story mode. Speaking of story mode, the game should have also an extended narrative and setting, plus different approaches in playing the game to unlock different alternate endings within the game.
Capcom will likely update gaming fans regarding gameplay and release date announcements for "Resident Evil 2" remake very soon.
