Behind the smiles and the early 90s wardrobe, there was drama and tension hidden underneath the wholesome façade of a teen cult classic.
Lifetime recently released a sneak peek of the autobiographical TV movie entitled "The Unauthorized Saved By the Bell Story". The said TV movie follows the relationships between the six main cast members of the 90s sitcom, "Saved By the Bell".

The short clip features a cast photo shoot, beginning with Dylan Everett who plays Mark Paul Gosselar and Alyssa Lynch who plays Tiffani Amber Thiessen. Gosselar and Thiessen played onscreen couple Zach and Kelly in the original TV series.
Next on cam is Taylor Russell who plays Lark Voorhies. Voorhies played Lisa Turtle on the show.
Voorhies was jealous of Thiessen because she had a crush on Gosselar. The trailer not-so subtly reveals this when Russell is showed starting a feud with Lynch.
Tiera Skovbye who plays Elizabeth Berkley, tries to break up the fight between the girls. Berkley played Jessie Spano in the series.
While the girls' tension is apparent, Julian Works, who plays Mario Lopez, does push-ups. Mario Lopez took on the role of A.C. Slater on the show.
Sam Kindseth, who plays Dustin Diamond, tries to compete with Works and does push-ups as well. Diamond played Screech Powers in the TV series.
Frustrated, Kindseth turns to Works and says "You're such a p***k!"
The short clip ends with a producer stating, "'Well the network didn't kill us... [but] the hormones might."
Gosselar also had some real-life drama with cast mate Diamond recently regarding Diamond's negative tell-all book, "Behind the Bell".
"Everything I've heard about his book is it is negative. I don't remember those things. My experience on the show was very positive. It's his perspective," Gosselar commented.
Even Gosselar's "Franklin and Bash" co-star, Breckin Meyer, couldn't help but give his opinion about Diamond's book.
"That guy is such a d***. I need to say it. The Dustin thing is just so silly. It's just so negative and it always bums me out," Breckin shared with Huffington Post Live.
