According to iDigitalTimes, Konami Europe recently announced on their website the earlier release of "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" from September 15 to September 1. Steam users will take this as good news as they won't have to wait that long to play the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" on PC. "Metal Gear Online," however, has been moved to a later date. Konami announced that the "Metal Gear Online" version will be available in mid October and its PC version will have to wait until January. When asked why the mulitiplayer version won't be available on time, Konami said that it was an essential move as they have moved up the release date of the base game "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." Despite this, Konami promised the extra copy of behind the scene footages, documentaries and some in game items to its fans who have pre-ordered on Steam.
The issue of delays, according to GameSpot, is not new as in the year 2013, the video game "Grand Theft Auto V" also suffered delays in its "GTA Online" version after the base game was released.
"Metal gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" will be released on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Play Station 3 and Play Station 4 on September. Another feature that has been highlighted by Konami is the player's ability to change costume depending of the level of game they are playing. Transformation includes changing of patterns and colors of their gears, but with few notable actions that can't be perform by the player such as designing the gear itself and making the gear affect the way the character performs as well as changing gears during match.
