Star Wars 7 News tells readers to take note of light color scheme showing a bit of "visual red herring" and Hamill's white cape. There have reportedly been pre-production talks about a white cape symbolizing grieving. However, the cape that is shown in the latest Luke Skywalker photo could also mean that the character simply lost his way or have become evil.
As for now, there is no sure explanation.
Meanwhile, in other "Star Wars" news, President of Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy, has reportedly revealed new details about the Phil Lord and Chris Miller film of a Han Solo prequel Star Wars Anthology, according to Consequence of Sound.
Kennedy told EW that the anthology would focus on the exploration of Solo's identity of Solo, as well as some of his humor, a much-awaited addition since the character is known for it.
"We don't want to spend time going back and answering a lot of questions that, quite frankly, I don't think people want answered... I think the key here is that we are identifying an event or events in Han Solo's life that gives you some idea of who he is and why he is the character we have all known to love...You can imagine, given who we've chosen to come in and direct, it should be very entertaining and funny," said Kennedy.
"Han Solo is the character inside Star Wars that everybody knows has a wit and sense of humor. So that's what this should be," she added.
Kennedy also noted that the Han Solo prequel would show Solo more or less 15 years younger than the original "Star Wars."
"He'll definitely be probably in the high teens, low 20s. We're not introducing you to a 10-year-old Han Solo," said the Lucasfilm president.
The Han Solo film will reportedly be written by Lawrence Kasdan, who is known for his work as a writer in "The Return of the Jedi," "The Empire Strikes Back," and "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Kasdan is also screenwriter for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," while his son, Jon Kasdan worked alongside him with the script.
The Han Solo film project is currently untitled. However, reports say that it is due for release May 25, 2018.
Meanwhile, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will appear in theaters Dec. 18.
