20th Century Fox released the film adaptation for the best-selling novel, "The Maze Runner." While fans may agree that the book was already a great read, the film adaptation turned out to be better. 

"The Maze Runner" tells the tale about a boy named Thomas who woke up in an elevator with most of his memories wiped out. He was woken up by a group of teenage boys who don't remember anything about their lives as well. In the end, the audience knew that they were just part of an experiment. This left the audience wondering what will happen to them.

Definitely, there's a strong connection between the characters of Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) and Teresa (Kaya Scodelario) in first part of "The Maze Runner", but in" Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials," Teresa will no longer be the sole female hanging out with the group of trapped teenage boys. The group will also meet Brenda (Salazar), who plays a young woman who is trying to survive "The Scorch."

"It gets tossed aside without being tossed aside. It's still really present and it's still really there and again, something for the audience to grab on to and root for and love."

Rosa Salazar replied about their love triangle in an interview with Collider.

"It's not so much love triangle-y, but it kind of is," she said. "Like, you could describe it that way."

The actress added, "We're just like, 'We don't want this to be some like cheesy a** love triangle,' because it can be more subtle than that. Everything is described in what Thomas chooses to do and that's the whole point of 'Maze Runner.'"
