Nina Dobrev's doppelganger, Victoria Justice, together with "The Fosters" alum Jake Austin awarded her the Choice TV Actress award. Nina actually went on stage speaking in front of the teens with a pair of vampire teeth that actually mumbled her speech. After failing to speak coherently with the fangs on, the actress took out her prop then stated, "That's right, I don't need this anymore."
Nina Dobrev's speech at the Teen Choice Awards wasn't just for a good conversation though. She bravely took a moment to get personal with her teenage fans.
"So the last few months have been a pretty big change for me," stated Dobrev, adding, "Change. It's a scary word, or at least I used to think that. Because it meant new beginnings, new beginnings where the future is unknown. But change is necessary, necessary for you to learn and to grow and to better yourself. Because everything in life comes to an end."
"And as this chapter of my life comes to an end, I look back at it with a grateful heart and I smile. Because just like my character Elena, I started the show as a young girl and together, we grew up. We've grown up and over the last six years, we've become women. I wouldn't be here without you," stated Dobrev.
After a few years of playing the character of a teenager, Nina Dobrev wants to play a role that of her age. Dobrev wants to be known as a mature actress who can play the part of different roles. As of this moment, she doesn't know what's in her plate for the future. However, by the time Dobrev is ready to come back to work, she wants to be open to all types character roles, be it for film or TV series.
Lots of fans have been wondering what's next for Nina Dobrev. Her devoted fans would definitely like to see more of her in the future.
